It is easy to use and a great solution to backup my emails. Also to have an archive on the Mac. I can recommend MailBackupX. Maybe for the roadmap: An iOS-App to view the archives would be great. This feature I miss at the moment.

Mail Backup X worked very well for me. It quickly created backups of my emails, and searching through the backups is noticeably faster than searching directly in my email mailboxes. The setup was straightforward, and the software feels reliable for long-term email archiving. Overall, a solid solution if you want fast and dependable email backups.

it worked well. A little confusing to setup and it is easy to import a database again. There is no duplicate detection or prevention. That would be a useful feature to delete duplicate emails. I used it to collect emails from different formats over the years and it seem to do that just fine.

I haven't really tried using it yet except converting mail format. But it seems to enable us to do everything about email. UI is easy to use. Seems to have solid functionality and does what it describes. Ability to view mails without restoring from backup archive is a distinct advantage over competitors.
